James Low has been a staple of the Portland scene over the past few years, and anyone who's spent time at venues like Imbibe, Laurelthirst, or the Doug Fir has likely come across his varying forms of roots music and fine storytelling. With two solid full-lengths to his credit thus far, Low looks forward during our session with a set of new material from his upcoming release, The Blackguard's Waltz. We'll talk to him about the new recording, the Portland music scene, and the changes he's seen it go through over the past decade or so.
