Tea For Julie in-studio @ OPB, 8-21-08

Tea For Julie released their long-awaited second album, The Sense in Tying Knots, earlier this year, four years after the success of their debut, Division. Though both efforts were self-released, a decidedly more restrained sound pervades the new one, perhaps revealing a new-found maturity in the process. We talked to the band about the process of including a producer in the mix this time around and got a live set of the new songs, including a blistering take on one of the album's sonic departures, "Pollyanna."

Recording engineer: Steven Kray

Updated opbmusic.org

We've made some changes around here in response to feedback we've gotten from you, the listener. For instance, in addition to the blog you can now comment on both songs and our in-studio performances. We've also enhanced our player, and it's easier to find out what other users think of the music we play.

More improvements are planned, keep those suggestions coming.

We hope these changes make opbmusic more usable — thanks for listening.
