The man behind The Real Tuesday Weld, Stephen Coates, brings a full band into the studio for re-creations of the sound he's dubbed "antique beat." We talked to him about his "Cole Porter with iBook" persona, the increasingly adventurous directions his songs are taking in the hands of the full band, and the unlikely premise for the latest release, Live at the End of the World.
