Violinist and singer Kishi Bashi is one of the most interesting solo artists to emerge in the past year. Working primarily with his violin, looping pedal, singing and beat-boxing, he makes brightly colored pop melodies and sweeping arrangements from seemingly simple beginnings. His 2012 debut record 151a, drew attention from many corners, including a "Favorite Discoveries of 2012" nod from the folks at NPR Music.
opbmusic.org presents Kishi Bashi at Holocene on Sunday night, February 24th at 7:30pm, with Shugo Tokumaru and Tall Tall Trees. It's an all-ages show.
This concert is completely sold out but we have a few tickets to give away! The entry details are below.
