Arcade Fire (The Suburbs) and Menomena (Mines) were the records we played most this past week. We're also spinning the 22-20s record, Lost in the Trees, and that deep well of Portland music, the PDX Pop Now! compilation. As you may have seen the Dandy Warhols Capitol Years record is out today and that makes our playlist below. So do locals John Heart Jackie, Run on Sentence and Dolorean. I know I know, it's not out until October and we're still in summer, but if you can wait that long, well you are more disciplined than I am. (Download the first song from The Unfazed, right here.)

And this was last week:

The weekly spins list checks in from its summer hiatus, (all tan and happy, smelling faintly like river water and barbecue..)  What's hot here? Summer releases from a couple of heayweights, Menomena and Arcade Fire.  While Menomena's Mines hit stores at the end of July and has been stuck on play ever since, two distinct, lovely, sometimes quirky records from singers Frazey Ford and Jesca Hoop have had our ear lately, along with Wavves, Lost in the Trees and Seattle's Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band.  And -- look for a brand new studio session from Jesca Hoop on opbmusic tomorrow!

Here's the list of records we're playing most:

1. Menomena/Mines
