We look ahead to the week with an eye on next weekend's PDX Pop Now! festival by featuring our recent session with Typhoon-- one of the bands helping to put a wrap on things at Rotture one week from tonight. Also tonight, new and recent releases from Menomena, Best Coast, Jesca Hoop, Wolf Parade, We Are Scientists, Phosphorescent and more.

Actually planned on Admiral Radley coming up....so no! Did you catch their show in Portland last week by any chance?

Leland / July 25, 2010
I didn't. Heard about it too late. Dang.

Jeremy Petersen / July 25, 2010
Argh, I missed it too. I was hoping you could give me a take on it. Ah well, AdRad coming right up...

What's this you're playing at 8:37?

grasshopper / July 25, 2010
Was that still the Parenthetical girls? I just popped in to the show late. Good evening, by the way.

Thanks for the soundtrack. After a weekend of playing in in the mountains I now have some work to get done. You're helping, I'm sure.

Jeremy Petersen / July 25, 2010
And hello! @grasshopper- by 8:37, we'd moved onto an afrobeat instrumental piece by Cochemea Gastelum. Parenthetical Girls preceded that, if it helps. Work away, Gunky, axe to the grind.

Is it too late to request Grandaddy?

Leland / July 25, 2010
Or Admiral Radley?
