In case you hadn't heard, it's mostly guitars for Sam Coomes on Quasi's recent American Gong. Standing out in the collection for it's subdued tone, among other reasons, is the dare-we say-it elegiac "Laissez les Bon Temps Rouler," and it gets an apt visual match here from director Clyde Petersen.

Stereogum premiered the video yesterday, but of course you may have heard the song here (as in here) first. Quasi's currently touring with kill rock stars labelmates Explode Into Colors!, and return to Portland and the Doug Fir on March 27th.
