Great choices. I sense a NOLA theme. I'm a big fan of the city. How about Susan Cowsill? L

Jeremy, Sorry to trouble you, but... Last night (4/4) at 10:39 to 10:40 you were back-announcing songs and played a snippet of music involving some country-blues slide guitar. Now you've got me jonesing for that music; can you point me in the right direction? Thanks and thanks for a great show, Tim Ennis ennist88@hotmail.com

Haha, really? That's on KINK? The deep cut it is, then. Thanks for listening!

Susan Cowsill....hmm, I claim ignorance. A quick allmusic check reveals some pretty interesting links, including Giant Sand and Lucinda Williams. Thanks for the recommend.

Love it. Thanks, Jeremy. Also, thanks for ruining every future Saturday night. I'll be listening to you. Leland

Shucks, Zed, go on... We can do that-- settle for the Summer in the Southeast version, though? Coming up....

I love the audience participation on that track. Thanks!

Hey Jeremy - Loving the show tonight. Any plans to play the new Decemberists tonight? I haven't bought it yet. Leland

Hi Leland, Sure I can do that-- it's a really tricky album to find a single cut from, as you might guess. Do you want to hear the single that's been out for quite a while now (The Rake's Song) or the more subdued but gorgeous closer (The Hazards of Love 4)? Speaking as a fan, I can attest that it's a pretty stunning listen, and grows on repeated listens. I recommend highly (me and everyone else, it seems).

Jeremy, Listen to Crescent City Snow (about Katrina) or Nanny's Song. Sure-fire tear-producers. She was part of the Cowsills. A sixties power-pop band. Her brother was a casualty of the hurricane. L

Lets do the latter. I can always listen to KINK for the former. ;-) Thanks again for a great show! L
